Wednesday, December 22, 2010 | | Christmas is one of Christianity's big events every year, in order to honour the event, on December 22nd 2010 SGS held Christmas activities that were attended by students from toddler to primary. The occasion was divided into three sessions. The first session was for the morning class students of toddler and pre-school. The activities began with Santa giving out presents to students in each class and continued with students' performances on stage. The stage was on the ground floor of the SGS building. The place was loaded not only with students but also with many parents who were eager to see their child perform on stage.
The second session was for kindergarten and primary classes. These activities started on the stage and included various performances from the pupils. There was modern dance performed by kindergarten and primary students, Chinese Club dance, Mandarin traditional dance, choir, singing mandarin songs and closed with a drama show performed by primary English Drama Club students.
The third session continued with pre-school students from the afternoon classes. After receiving Christmas gifts from Santa the pre-school pupils headed for the stage, ready to show their very best performance. Overall, the activities ran very well. It was a pleasure to see happy and satisfied faces on the students and parents. Hopefully, we can do much better for next year’s event.
