| | | | | Pre-school’s Idul Fitri 1431 H Celebration |
Friday, September 24, 2010 | | Friday 24th of September 2010, SGS celebrated Idul Fitri as part of the tradition and culture of INDONESIA. All pre-school students joined the activities and they enjoyed them a lot.
Before we started the activities, teachers explained about the ketupat and that it is a symbol of muslim people. The activities were: eating ketupat, coloring pictures of a mosque and filling the ketupats with rice. Playgroup 2 students also had three performances, these were: Butterfly dancing, Lao shi zho and dancing to an Arabian song.
All the pre school students enjoyed the activities and understood the meaning of Idul Fitri.
