Sunday, April 25, 2010 | | “Wow, there were handsome boys and pretty girls in SGS. What’s up?”
Sunday 25 April 2010, SGS celebrated Kartini’s Day Celebration. Kartini’s Day is a day to remind us of one of Indonesia’s famous women heroes. She had to fight to get women’s freedom. All students and parents from Toddler, Playgroup, Kindergarten and Primary class were dressed in traditional clothes.
At the beginning of this event, there was a tree planting activity according to the Earth Day Celebration. After that, a fashion show competition began. One by one, the contestants performed at their best. Then, the judges had to decide who the winners were. There were a lot of category winners. While waiting for the result, the Primary students and teachers performed 2 songs on the stage, “Heal The World” and “Ibu Kita Kartini.”
