| | | | | Sgs Staff Recreation: A Trip To Jogja |
Sunday, September 28, 2014 | | On 27th – 28th September 2014, SGS staff had a trip to Jogjakarta. Our motto for this journey was "My Trip, My Adventure". It started off by exploring the Greatest Buddhist Temple in the world, Borobudur. It is a magnificent place with beautiful views and precious stupas.
In the evening, all participants, including the School Advisor gathered in the main hall of the hotel we stayed in for a special event, the awarding of awards to the teachers and employee of 2014. We congratulated Ms. Lilik (Employee of the Year), Ms. Dewi (Teacher of the Year – Kindy), Ms. Jhem (Teacher of the Year – Playgroup), and Ms. Chyntia (Teacher of the Year – Primary).
We visited some recreation places on our second day in Jogja. It's time for us to refresh ourselves by playing with water at the Krakal Beach and Indrayani Beach. We walked along the beach, climbed the cliff and took pictures as many as we wanted. The last place to be visited was GuaPindul. We had to use a float to go inside it. It has an amazing view, with many bats around and stalactite and stalacmite stones. It's a valuable and enriching experience. Being together on the Jogja trip, regardless of work positions in SGS, gave us fond and unforgettable memories. We hope to go on another trip in 2015. (Ms. Ella)
