| | | | | Primary Christmas Day Celebration |
Thursday, December 19, 2013 | | Thursday December 19th, 2013, was a fun-filled activities day for primary students for Christmas. Many activities were held in classrooms and on the fourth floor playground, including learning about Christmas celebrations in other countries, word-searches, watching videos and playing games. Classes were given a Styrofoam Christmas tree which the students decorated in class with items both brought from home and provided by the school. Each class was taught a Christmas song and students performed it on stage on the 4th floor which was decorated with the student’s Christmas trees. The highlight of the day was a visit to each classroom by Santa Rick. After the lower primary students left for home at 1.00 p.m., the upper primary classes held their own Christmas party in the classrooms with snacks and drinks. (Mr. Jim Standen) |
